Atomos Ninja Inferno Overview

Atomos Ninja Inferno: Monitoring at its Finest

If you really want to come ahead of the limitations your camera has and make use of the full potential of your camera the Atomos Ninja Inferno gives you that power. The Atomos Ninja Inferno is your best friend in the field, giving both the next level monitoring and recording capabilities.

Input:

The Atomos Ninja Inferno has been imagined to utilize the full power of 4K 60p cameras. 4K recording capabilities in DCI and UHD formats up to 60p means you get to record uncompressed video, with all the details. Record in 24p and 25p for the true film like feel. With 10 bit 4:2:2 sampling and recording in Apple ProRes and Avid DNxHR, you get full control over tones and contrast.

The Inferno isn’t just the perfect pair with 4K 60p cameras, it also has 4K DCI recording abilities, the 4096 DCI standard bumps up the recording capabilities to cinema class. It still doesn’t leave the 4K 30p cameras behind either. No matter your camera, the Ninja Inferno has got your back.

Built quality:

The hallmark of the Ninja Inferno is that 7 inch LCD screen, with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 and 10 stops of dynamic range in the highlights and 12 stops in the blacks. The image quality doesn’t stop there, it has superior quality HDR workflow enabled, thanks to the AtomHDR engine. The screen is almost 4 times as bright as the normal field monitors go with 1500 nits of brightness. This lets you shoot outdoors with confidence and without any interference from sun hoods.

The Ninja Inferno is built to take a beating and still last. Having a built in protective armor comprised of silicone covered corners and chamfered edges. Like the previous Ninja Flame the Ninja Inferno also has dual Sony L- Series battery plates with hot swapping. So you get through longer periods of work with hot swapping.
