Canon EOS 800D DSLR Overview

Canon 800D Review : A Power Package

Some of the more capable offerings by Canon 800D Review is a strong combination of portability and power. The APS-C camera is more than equipped to handle your workflow. You can rest assured that the results will be remarkable, thanks to a 24.2 MP sensor that works in tandem with a DIGIC 7 image processor. Working with the EOS 800D will prove to be both fun and extremely professional

Features:

At the heart of the Canon EOS 800D lies a 24.2 MP APS-C CMOS sensor that is further enhanced by the DIGIC 7 image processor. What this means is that you have fast camera performance and high light sensitivity guaranteed. The ISO range on the camera is adequate for a majority of lighting conditions from ISO 100-25600. This can be further taken up to 51200 if needed. Thanks to the high processing power you get little noise and a visible level of clarity in the picture. For continuous shooting, the camera is good enough for a 6 fps rate.

Autofocus:

The Canon EOS 800D possesses a 45 point all cross-type phase-detection autofocusing system. This makes focusing on objects both super fast and incredibly accurate regardless of the lighting conditions. While shooting video or capturing pictures in live view the Dual Pixel CMOS AF is used which provides flawlessly smooth focusing that works in a similar manner as most camcorders. In the case of video shooting, the Movie Servo AF helps in making the autofocus natural when the focus is changed from one object to the other. The touchscreen can be used to focus on the objects quite intuitively and simultaneously see what you’re capturing

Video:

The Canon EOS 800D is well built for video recording needs. The camera supports Full HD 1080p video recording at a sharp 60 fps in MP4. And 30 fps in MOV format with ALL-I compression when you are shooting a time-lapse. There is a Movie Electronic IS to help reduce and camera shake and make the video more fluid in handheld mode. The Dual Pixel CMOS AF and the Movie Servo AF come to benefit the camera in the video department too. There is an HDR movie mode that is able to absorb more from the highlights and shadows in any high contrast conditions.

Body:

There is a huge 3-inch 1.04m-dot touchscreen LCD at the back of the camera. This can be used to adjust focus, alter the camera settings and view your previous shots. The vari-angle design on the screen makes it possible to twist the screen around for easy viewing in difficult angles. The Canon EOS 800D has an optical pentamirror viewfinder that does a great job when it comes to eye-level shooting.
