Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro

The Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro is a live production switching device that supports up to four inputs. The device has an integrated control panel that allows live streaming from multiple cameras. Applications for the device are vast, you can broadcast HD video to the internet, whether its from gaming consoles, a digital camera or your office conference.

The ATEM Mini Pro takes brings all the features of the ATEM Mini and levels them up further. You get live information such as the live streaming data rate and current status. You can record directly on to a USB drive for backup and hot swap drives with the Blackmagic Multidock. If you’re arsenal comprises of of Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Cameras you can add 4 of them directly as a broadcasting device. Other useful features in the ATEM Mini Pro include, program preview multi viewing, timecode generators, stream caching and tally support.

In terms of design, the ATEM Mini Pro is identical to its predecessor. It has the same rear panel setup with four HDMI input ports available. All ports are capable of 1080p video input. For output you get a single HDMI out which is capable of Multiview monitoring. If you want to output to a laptop, a USB-C output is also available. You can control your ATRM Mini Pro using the ATEM Software Control Panel via USB or Ethernet. Here you’ll be able to see all information such as the live feed status, audio, configuration data rate and more. If you have previously used the DaVinci Resolve, you’ll be delighted to find that built in configuration is identical so you get get to work proficiently! On the face of the device, you’ll notice backlit controls with an easy to read positioning, for controlling transitions and settings
