The Samson Desktop Microphone Stand MD2 is a desktop microphone stand designed for podcasters, voice-over artists, and others who need a short microphone stand. It sports a round weighted die-cast metal base that measures 4″ in diameter.

From this base protrudes an adjustable, telescoping arm that measures between 6 and 9″ in height, depending on how far you’ve extended it. This arm locks with a twist clutch mechanism.
