Like the rest of the Alpha series, the A6600 is no different. The camera has a 24.2 MP Exmor CMOS sensor that is good for producing sharp image quality while also being highly light sensitive. With ISO going from 100-32000 and still expandable to 102400 it can be seen that the camera is well equipped for low light conditions. The new sensors incorporate a unique design that makes use of thin copper wiring in order to help with noise reduction. The BIONZ X image processor gives you a maximum continuous shooting rate of 11 fps alongside AF and AE. It also gives you the power to shoot video in 16 bit while giving 14 bit raw images for smoother contrast and tones.

Video:

The Sony A6600 is well built for professional video recording. You can record UHD 4K video on many different frame rates up to a maximum of 30 fps. Thanks to the Super 35mm recording area you get a 6K recording resolution. This oversampled resolution means your video is sharper and detail-rich than ever, due to no pixel binning occurring. A welcome feature in the A6600 is that it has no recording time limit. So you can record for as long as you like. With the external HDMI connection, you can make use of an external recorder for recording 4K video with a 4:2:2 sampling rate.
