The new Canon EOS R7 is an important addition to Canon’s mirrorless lineup for a variety of reasons. This camera is a new high-end mirrorless camera perfect primarily for wildlife photography and sports photographers. It features a 32.5-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, which is the joint highest resolution ever seen in a Canon-cropped sensor mirrorless camera.

Instead of 10 FPS, this camera has a 15 FPS mechanical shutter with a burst rate of up to 30 FPS electronic shutter. Instead of 65 AF points, there are 651 focus zones that span the entire frame.
