With the focal length of wide-angle to short telephoto, this lens is perfect for versatile use. The lens is designed for Sony E Mount full-frame cameras but can also work with Sony E Mount APS-C cameras, on which it will give a focal length of 36-105mm. There is a constant f/4 aperture for more precise control on focus, the aperture goes all the way to f/22. Inside the lens is a linear autofocus motor and an internal focus design that helps to get a sharper and accurate focus on your subject. The motors also help with keeping autofocusing silent while video recording.

The Optical SteadyShot image stabilization reduces handheld shake resulting in sharper and more stable images and videos. The lens is designed to be dust and moisture resistant, so you can use the lens is harsh weather conditions with confidence. Inside the lens is a rounded seven-blade diaphragm that gives a beautiful bokeh when dealing with selective focus work.
